Headkeeper
Headkeeper is a roguelike deckbuilder set in a dark fantasy world where domino tiles replace traditional cards.
The Abyss is a place where dangerous criminals, monsters, and even entire cursed lands are cast down from the Upper World. The protagonist is a knight cursed with eternal life. He was beheaded and thrown into the Abyss, yet the Abyss itself twisted him and granted him a strange gift - the ability to wield the power contained within the heads of fallen beings.
Long ago, in the Upper World, the knight heard tales of a powerful mage capable of traveling between the Upper World and the Abyss. If this mage is still alive and has not been consumed by the darkness, the knight must find him at any cost…

Hm. I like the mechanics, but the underclad ladyghosts make me uncomfortable; I would enjoy this game a lot if not for the bikini-or-naked-Barbie enemies.
The enemies are awesome — each has its own personality and unique dominoes, which makes every encounter a fun puzzle. Atmospheric, highly replayable, and makes you want to experiment with new builds again and again.
Would just love to see a proper death screen. But overall — a fantastic card-based roguelike, definitely recommended!
Thanks!
This was so much fun! Almost beat the boss on my first try, but I messed up my row in a single turn which caused it to get 25 fury.
2nd run: Defeated the final boss with a corruption build.
Thanks for playing!
Nice to see you on Itch! Крутоблин
Thanks! Крутоблин
Nice game! really addictive! I win the game with a fury and druid set and really enjoyed it! I didn't run far in endless mode since I kind of not have enough way to heal my self lol. Hope to see a full game with more healing cards!
Also I think it might be helpful if we can restart the current turn, as sometimes it is really annoying when I calculate a sequence incorrectly and can not place the last card(S), but well it is not a must and I 'm not sure if that would make the game tedious...
Other than that I really love this game! keep working on it please!
Thank you!
Some gamplay, and a hint of critique ;)
Thank you very much for the video and the feedback. I really appreciate it! I watched the video and reduced the chance of getting a 4 on the starting domino tile. I’ll add the lore in the near future.
this is great, would love to see More content in later updates
Thanks!
there is however a bug where if the two available slots are positioned so one is above the other, the domino will drop into the top slot despite aiming for the lower.
I think I ran into a bug with the remove card function.
The tiles started the turn off screen and I can no longer end my turn after I removed tiles the second time.
Thanks for sending the bug. I’ll try to fix it.
Deck building games are 50/50 for me, but this is a really fun take on the format! Great job.
Thanks!
